At his shop on Mockingbird Hill, craftsman John Emberton builds knives, traps, and other tools to customer specifications.  The items on this site are examples of his work - some were commissioned by customers, and some were made to be sold at shows (where they fly off the tables at a healthy pace).   Mockingbird Hill is not a production line, and even if an item is made to the same pattern as another, it will have small variations that make it unique.  Each has been carefully built by a skilled craftsman, and they are truly one-of-a-kind works of art; tough, reliable and practical  tools fit to be kept as cherished heirlooms.
